We really try, on this blog, to shy away from shilling for others, but, having watched this trailer for "Flower", the winner for "Best Independent Game (Fueled by Dew)" at Spike's '09 Vido Game Awards we have to say we're quite entranced by the colorful, high resolution production of this concept.
We'd be lying by saying we're surprised the game won in its category, we're not. Imagination and intelligent subtext are important components in a truly rich gaming concept. Watch the above and be swept away.
